Two dead 444 confirmed cases this Sunday

On this Sunday, July 24, 2022, the epidemiological report from the Ministry of Health reports 8,485 active cases, (2.4%) under treatment nationwide. Similarly, 7,939 tests were carried out in 24 hours, bringing the national total of tests since the start of the pandemic to 12,176,159.

The total number of deaths at the national level since the start of the pandemic therefore stands at 16,213, while the fatality rate remains stable at 1.3%.

Still in its daily epidemiological report, the Ministry of Health reports 9 new severe cases admitted to intensive care in 24 hours for a national total of 127 critical cases. The cases under artificial respiration stand at 35 cases while 4 others are under intubation.

Morocco has also recorded 1,598 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,233,066 remissions. The cure rate is 98%. With regard to vaccination, the number of recipients of the first dose of the vaccine since the start of the national campaign reached 24,870,200 people, including 23,358,881 who received the second dose, 6,626,871 the third dose, while the number of recipients of the fourth dose stands at 19,189, the Ministry of Health said.
