The Lionesses in the semi-finals and the 2023 World Cup after their victory against Botswana

The Atlas Lionesses have validated their qualification for the semi-finals of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2022, after their victory against Botswana (2-1), this Wednesday at the Moulay Abdellah complex in Rabat, for the account of the quarter-finals of the competition.

The women’s national team thus validates its participation in the 2023 World Cup scheduled for Australia and New Zealand.

The opener came from Sanaâ Mssoudy in the 3rd minute of the match, before Keitumetse Dithebe replied in the 7th minute with the equalizer.

Yasmin Mrabet widened the gap in favor of Morocco in the 59th minute.
