The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery, announced this Friday that in view of the continuation of the preventive measures imposed by the evolution of the health situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided the postponement of all activities, festivities and ceremonies planned for the Throne Day.

“The Ministry of the Royal Household, Protocol and Chancellery announces that in view of the continuation of the preventive measures imposed by the evolution of the health situation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been decided to postpone all the activities, festivities and ceremonies planned for the 23rd Anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, to the Throne of His Glorious Ancestors.

In this context, it was decided to postpone the reception ceremony chaired by HM the King, may God glorify him, on this glorious occasion, of the swearing-in ceremony for the new laureate officers of the various military and paramilitary schools and institutes. and civilians and of the ceremony of allegiance to Amir Al-Mouminine, may God preserve Him, and of all the parades and demonstrations attended by a large number of citizens.

On this glorious occasion, His Majesty the King, may God preserve Him, will address a speech to His faithful people.
