Ivory Coast beat Morocco

The national beach soccer team of Côte d’Ivoire beat its Moroccan counterpart by 7 to 6, Sunday afternoon at the Palais des Sports de Treichville, in Abidjan, in the first leg counting for the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations (CAN 2022) which will take place in Mozambique.

The return leg will be played between August 5 and 7.

Fourteen national teams are involved in these qualifiers, the seven qualified having to join the host country to play the final phase of the CAN 2022 Beach Soccer.

In another match played yesterday Saturday, the Lions of Senegal beat Cameroon on their ground by 9 to 1.

The Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations will take place from October 21 to 30, 2022 in Mozambique.
