Here is the list of the most affected regions

Morocco has recorded 1,654 new cases carrying the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recorded nationally since the start of the epidemic to 1,250,510.

Currently, the total active cases rise to 15,552, among them, 143 cases are in serious condition. As for the geographical distribution of new cases recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, it is the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra which comes first among the most affected regions, accounting for 351 new infections, of which 126 were detected in the city of Rabat indicates the MoroccoLatestNews monitoring and follow-up platform, www.moroccolatestnews.com.

Second region in the ranking, the Greater Casablanca-Settat region with a total of 343 cases, 240 of which are located in Casablanca.

For its part, the Fez-Meknes region recorded a balance sheet of 258 infections, including 85 in Meknes. The Oriental recorded 159 of which 62 infections are located in Oujda-Angad.

Follows, Tanger-Tetouan-Al Hoceima with 110 infections of which 23 are in Tetouan and Tanger-Assilah. The region of Souss-Massa for its part lists 105 cases (42 in Agadir-Ida-Ou-Tanane).

Béni Mellal-Khenifra has recorded 60 infections, including 16 in Béni Mellal, followed by the Draâ-Tafilalet region with 50 cases. The least affected regions are Guelmim -Oued Noun (40), Laâyoune -Sakia El Hamra (31), Dakhla -Oued Eddahab (8).
