Bundesliga: Serge Gnabry extends Bayern Munich until 2026

German international winger Serge Gnabry has decided to extend his contract with Bundesliga leaders Bayer Munich until 2026.

Gnabry spoke on the Bavarian club’s twitter account. He said he was excited to continue the adventure at Bayern Munich, the Bavarian club announced on Saturday. “I want to win everything again with this club, I want to find this feeling that we had two years ago”, when Bayern won all the titles possible during the 2020 season, including the Champions League, said he said.

His current contract expires in the summer of 2023 and Bayern wanted at all costs to avoid the risk of seeing him leave without a transfer fee in a year’s time.

Bayern had to give in for their Polish international Robert Lewandowski, which forced the club to accept his transfer to FC Barcelona.
