Awrach program: 2,637 sites approved until mid-July

As part of the territorial application of the “Awrach” program, which covers the entire national territory, 2,637 temporary construction sites have been approved until mid-July, with 47,114 beneficiaries, or 49.07%, the minister said. In response to a question during the session of oral questions in the House of Councilors on the results of the “Awrach” program, Sekkouri specified that the number of beneficiaries should reach 62,225 over the next three months, or 64.76% of the target set for the year 2022.

The rate of women beneficiaries is around 40%, the minister said, also mentioning 235 women and men among people with specific needs, according to contracts approved by the National Agency for the Promotion of Employment and Skills ( ANAPEC) so far.

According to data provided by the Minister during this session, held on Tuesday, 4,074 associations and cooperatives were selected to set up temporary work sites, while 2,560 associations and cooperatives benefited from the training, or 63%.

Similarly, a total of 3,660 agreements for the construction of temporary works have been signed with the councils of prefectures and provinces, in addition to the payment of salaries for 30,000 beneficiaries at the end of June, he added.

It also involves training and improving the employability of 6,307 people under the “worksite/school” concept with the mobilization of more than 54 guidance counselors by the Office for Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) and ANAPEC.

Also, particular care has been taken to offer jobs declared to the National Social Security Fund (CNSS), since 34,993 contracts have been drawn up by ANAPEC.

According to the Minister, the assessment also includes the adoption and signature, by his department, of partnership agreements with the 75 councils of prefectures and provinces and the holding of regional program committees throughout the national territory.

In addition, there is talk of the transfer of the association’s management grant to all the councils of the prefectures and provinces, he said, specifying that 73,016,240 dirhams were transferred as scholarships. initial grants, while 61,487,360 additional scholarships were identified, of which 2,950,400 DH were transferred for the benefit of the provinces which had requested additional support from the associations so far, namely: El Hajeb, Jerada, Tinghir and Beni Mellal, in plus the announcement of calls for projects for the establishment of temporary work sites in all the councils of prefectures and provinces.

Regarding the rate of achievement of program objectives at the regional level as of mid-July 2022, the data indicates that the Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima region benefited from 8,327 (88% of the objective set), while the number of beneficiaries in the Oriental region reached 8,037 (73% of the objective set) and 5,770 in the Fez-Meknes region (47%).

The region of Rabat-Salé-Kenitra benefited 3,651 (34%) and the region of Beni Mellal-Khenifra, 5,345 people benefited (84% of the set objective).

The number of beneficiaries in the Casablanca-Settat region reached 2,265 (15% of the target), while this number was 3,222 in Marrakech-Safi (30% of the target), 4,825 in Draa -Tafilalet (86% of target), 2,857 (38% of target) in Souss-Massa, 1,199 (3%) in Guelmim-Oued Noun and 1,646 in Laâyoune-Sakia El Hamra (41% of the goal).

The minister also mentioned the identification of a first batch of 3,450 job opportunities with selected recruiters, in addition to the validation of 1,397 protocols by ANAPEC agencies and their transfer to the CNSS, specifying that the percentage of women among beneficiaries amounts to 46%.
