Akhannouch meets with the President of the AfDB Group

The Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, met this Wednesday in Marrakech, with the President of the African Development Bank Group (AfDB), Akinwumi Adesina, on a working visit to Morocco at the head of a large delegation.

The meeting took place in the presence of Nadia Fettah, Minister of Economy and Finance, Younes Sekkouri, Minister of Economic Integration, Small Business, Employment and Skills, and Mohcine Jazouli, Minister Delegate in charge of investment, convergence and the evaluation of public policies, indicates a press release from the department of the head of government.

The talks with Akinwumi Adesina focused on the different aspects of the partnership between Morocco and the African financial institution as well as the means to strengthen and develop it.

The meeting was also an opportunity to discuss the challenges facing global economies.

In this context, the Head of Government reviewed the various strategies and programs launched by Morocco, recalling that the government has maintained, despite the global economic situation, the pursuit of structural reforms according to the agreed agenda, as well as the pursuit support for social programs, whether in the areas of health, education or social protection.
