54 severe cases admitted to REA in 24 hours

The occupancy rate of intensive care beds stood at 3.4% on Tuesday July 5. In just 24 hours, 54 new severe cases were admitted to intensive care, bringing the national total to 179 critical cases. The national total since the start of the pandemic thus stands at 16,131. The fatality rate stood at 1.31% on Tuesday.

Morocco has also recorded 2,703 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,188,619 remissions. The recovery rate stood at 96.63% on Tuesday, while the total number of active cases stood at 25,345 cases (2.06%).
