4,623 active cases nationwide including 100 cases admitted to REA

On this Sunday, July 31, the epidemiological report from the Ministry of Health reports 4,623 active cases of Covid-19, under treatment nationwide. Similarly, 7,771 tests were carried out in 24 hours, bringing the national total of tests since the start of the pandemic to 12,238,696.

In addition, Morocco has recorded 3 deaths due to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. One death was recorded in the city of Youssoufia (Marrakech-Safi region) and two deaths in Ouarzazate and Errachidia (Draa-Tafilalet region). The total of deaths at the national level since the start of the pandemic therefore stands at 16,237, while the fatality rate is at 1.29%.

Still in its daily epidemiological report, the Ministry of Health reports 4 new severe cases admitted to intensive care in 24 hours for a national total of 100 critical cases. The cases under artificial respiration stand at 25 cases while 5 others are under intubation.

Morocco has also recorded 610 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,240,118 remissions. The healing rate is 98.35% this Sunday.

With regard to vaccination, 24,875,759 people have been vaccinated with D1 since the launch of the campaign, including 23,366,061 having received D2, 6,674,289 D3 and 25,832 D4.
