10,345 tests carried out in 24 hours, and 25,319 active cases nationwide

In 24 hours, 10,345 PCR tests were carried out in Morocco for a national total of 11,972,828 tests carried out since the start of the pandemic. Thus, active cases under treatment nationwide increased to 25,319 cases (2.07%).

In its epidemiological report for this Sunday, July 3, the Ministry of Health reports 182 critical cases admitted to intensive care nationwide, including 7 new admissions in the last 24 hours. The occupancy rate of resuscitation beds dedicated to Covid-19 stands at 3.5%. Similarly, 9 cases under intubation were identified this Sunday while the total number of cases under artificial respiration stood at 65 cases.

In addition, Morocco has recorded one death due to Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in the city of Casablanca (Casablanca-Settat regions). The national total of deaths since the start of the pandemic therefore stands at 16,117. The case fatality rate stands at 1.32% this Sunday.

Morocco has also recorded 3,249 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,183,869 remissions, while the recovery rate stood at 96.62% this Sunday.
