Tourism-Crafts: 14 conventions signed Tuesday in Rabat

A total of 14 agreements were signed on Tuesday in Rabat between the Ministry of Tourism, Handicrafts, Social and Solidarity Economy, the Maison de l’Artisan and institutional and professional partners.

This is a framework agreement between the Ministry of Tourism, the Maison de l’Artisan and the Federation of Chambers of Crafts, a framework agreement between the same ministry, the Maison de l’Artisan and the Federation of craft companies and 12 conventions between the Maison de l’Artisan and all the regional craft chambers.

On this occasion, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, noted that the objective behind these agreements is to launch a new “more complete” contractual framework.

This is able to meet the many aspirations and objectives of the various segments of the sector, in particular individual craftsmen, craft businesses and entrepreneurs, trade unions and cooperatives, with a view to supporting them at the level of the entire value chain.

The conclusion of these partnerships, she said, is part of the implementation of the content of the sector’s development strategy, in particular the part relating to the renewal of the cooperation framework between the various signatories.

It should be noted that these agreements revolve around 5 main axes, in this case, production, marketing, training, support for digitalization, in addition to the integration of production units into the structured economic fabric. .

On the basis of these same axes, the Chambers and the Federation of craft enterprises will draw up an annual work program which will be able to define all the activities to be implemented, and to allocate, in turn, the means necessary to support these same activities.
