Tibu Africa/UNHCR: "Dunk for Refugees" for a strong impact on refugees through sport

Tibu Africa, the main organization in the education and integration of young people and women through sport in Africa and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (HCR Morocco) celebrated World Refugee Day with a program entitled “Dunk for Refugees”.

To celebrate this day, a sports meeting took place, in the presence of young refugees settled in Morocco, beneficiaries of Tibu Africa programs, as well as representatives of the press and media. This event took place at the school of the 2nd chance – New Generation – Oriented sports professions based in the old Medina of Casablanca.

This sporting event was marked by the participation of the Representative of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Morocco, Fran├žois Reybet-Degat.

It should be noted that Tibu Africa, the main NGO in Morocco and Africa that uses the power of sport to design social and innovative solutions in the field of education, empowerment and socio-economic inclusion of young people and women through sport, always put at the center of his interests, the condition of the refugee in Morocco.

Inspired by the National Immigration and Asylum Strategy, Tibu Africa is committed on this World Refugee Day to promoting the social and professional integration of young people by offering them educational and personalized support.

It works to transform schools and neighborhoods and contributes to fighting against inequalities of destiny and restoring equal opportunities, particularly with regard to access to regular physical activity, employment and training. .
