the Entrepreneurial Innovation Program in 5 key points

Here are five key points of the Entrepreneurial Innovation Program (PIE), jointly developed by the Office of Vocational Training and Labor Promotion (OFPPT) and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) of Benguerir:

1. Objectives of the EIP:

– Redefining the approach to developing the spirit of entrepreneurship among young trainees at the OFPPT.

– Equip young people with basic skills and innovative approaches to problem solving.

– Make young trainees adhere to the entrepreneurial approach, reveal their potential and stimulate their interest in entrepreneurship.

– Teach young people to appropriate entrepreneurial tools.

– Become aware of the multitude of opportunities that exist on the market.

2. A two-step deployment:

– The PIE will materialize through a series of face-to-face and virtual training modules in an innovative learning-by-doing approach.

– Training of trainers: For a guaranteed increase in skills, OFPPT trainers will benefit from coaching and training sessions following an innovative pedagogical approach.

– Empowerment of OFPPT trainers: Through learning by experimentation, the program will allow young people to live real immersion experiences in order to practice complex situations and develop skills likely to provide solutions adapted to everyday difficulties.

3. Key figures:

– More than 120 trainers.

– More than 26,000 trainees.

– Souss-Massa region: 48 Trainers

– Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra region: 28 trainers.

– Oriental Region: 47 trainers.

4. Pilot regions:

– The program will be deployed in three pilot regions, namely Souss-Massa, Laayoune-Sakia El Hamra and Oriental in addition to the city of Benguerir, with the ambition of extending to other regions of the Kingdom.

5. Duration of the program:

– The learning cycle will be spread over 2 years from the start of the 2021/2022 school year and will benefit thousands of OFPPT learners, keen on entrepreneurship and innovation. – The first year is devoted to developing an entrepreneurial mindset, improving the trainees’ ability to perceive opportunities, take risks and explore new ideas.

– The second year will allow trainees to live an entrepreneurial experience and learn the steps to transform an idea into an operational business.
