The company "Marrakech Fine Food" inaugurates its new industrial unit

The Minister of Industry and Trade, Ryad Mezzour, accompanied in particular by the wali of the Marrakech-Safi region, governor of the prefecture of Marrakech, Karim Kassi-Lahlou, chaired on Friday at the industrial zone of Sidi Ghanem in the ocher city, the inauguration ceremony of the new industrial unit of the company “Marrakech Fine Food” (MFF).

With an investment amount of 70 MDH, this project, which follows a 2021-2024 investment agreement signed on February 18, 2021, between the State and the company MFF, is part of the Contract – Program relating to the development of the agro-food industries sector (CP-IAA) and the Bank of projects. It concerns the creation of an industrial unit specializing in the manufacture of top-of-the-range biscuits and chocolate, which will enable the creation of 80 direct jobs.

“The pace of investment in the food industry is accelerating and opening up to new segments with high added value. This further strengthens the production capacity, the diversification of products with strong local integration and the competitiveness of the sector earning it worldwide fame”, underlined Ryad Mezzour in a statement to the press, on the sidelines of this ceremony. And to continue that this new investment “will contribute to strengthening the industrial sovereignty of our country and to the development of the national exportable offer in the sector”.

The Imperium Holding group, created in 1979, targets, through its subsidiary MFF, new products, particularly in the high-end biscuit and chocolate sectors, as part of its development strategy aimed at meeting market needs. and to diversify its range of top-of-the-range products intended mainly for export.
