Sekkouri takes part in the high-level segment of the 110th session of the ILC in Geneva

The work of the high-level segment of the 110th session of the International Labor Conference (ILC) opened on Thursday in Geneva, with the participation of Morocco represented by the Minister of Economic Inclusion, Small Business, ‘Employment and Skills, Younes Sekkouri.

The International Labor Conference is the supreme decision-making body of the International Labor Organization (ILO). It meets annually for two weeks in June with the participation of tripartite delegations (representatives of governments, workers and employers) from 187 ILO member States to discuss major issues relating to the world of work, adopt and evaluate application of international labor standards, and defining ILO guidelines.

The conference is composed of a plenary and technical committees. This year, safety and health at work, apprenticeship, as well as the social and solidarity economy were among the points on the agenda of the CIT, which started on May 27 and will end on Friday.

The Moroccan delegation taking part in the high-level segment of the CIT also includes Ambassador Permanent Representative of Morocco in Geneva, Omar Zniber.
