RSK and CS still leading the most affected regions

This Monday, June 20, Morocco reported 607 new positive cases of coronavirus recorded in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases recorded nationally since the start of the epidemic to 1,186,597.

Currently, the total active cases rise to 10,389 (0.88%), including 51 in serious condition. As for the geographical distribution of new cases recorded in Morocco in the past 24 hours, it is the region of Rabat-Salé-Kénitra (RSK) which once again comes first among the most affected regions with a total of 212 cases (136 in Rabat, 44 in Skhirate-Témara, 25 in Salé, 3 in Kénitra, 3 in Khémisset, 1 in Sidi Kacem).

In addition, the Oriental region recorded 22 covid-positive cases (12 in Oujda-Angad, 8 in Nador, 2 in Berkane), followed by the Béni-Mellal-Khénifra region which recorded 21 positive cases (8 in Khouribga, 7 in Khénifra, 5 in Fquih Ben Salah, 1 in Béni Mellal), followed by the region of Draâ-Tafilalet which identified 7 positive cases all in the city of Tinghir, then the region of Tangier-Tétouan-Al Hoceima which identified 6 cases (4 in Tangier-Assilah, 1 in Tetouan, 1 in Larache), and finally the region of Dakhla Oued Eddahab which identified 1 case in the city of Oued Ed-Dahab.
