Morocco Procurement Awards 2022: AWB wins the "Digitalization of the purchasing function" trophy

Attijariwafa bank has just won the “Digitalization of the purchasing function 2022” trophy at the 1st edition of the Morocco Procurement Award organized in Casablanca by the Moroccan Association of the Purchasing Community (AMCA) and the International Transport and Logistics Exhibition for Africa and the Mediterranean (Logismed).

This trophy, underlines the Group, rewards the efforts of the Purchasing department of the Attijariwafa bank group in terms of digitalization, in particular through the implementation of a high-performance digital platform for the management of the Group’s purchases “Attijarisourcing”.

This solution offers many advantages such as the complete dematerialization of the Purchasing process, a 360 view of suppliers, a reduction in the processing times for calls for tenders, the traceability of consultation files, the improvement of supplier payment times as well as than the digitization of the opening of the folds.

Composed mainly of professionals and experts in Purchasing and Business Management, the jury was particularly attentive to several criteria, namely: the relevance and scope of the project, its original and innovative character, the technologies used, the feedback on investment, the impact on its ecosystem, as well as the contribution to the competitiveness and performance of the company.

“We are very honored by this distinction. This trophy testifies to the vision of our Group and our reference shareholder AL MADA, which makes innovation and digitalization a strategic and emblematic axis and a real lever for creating value both for the bank and for its ecosystem”, said in this sense declared Youness Taghrichte, Purchasing Director of the Attijariwafa bank group.

Thanks to this new distinction, Attijariwafa bank once again demonstrates its commitment and mobilization to bring value to innovation processes and digital transformation projects.
