Israeli Interior Minister expected Monday in Morocco

Israeli Interior Minister Ayelet Shaked is expected in Morocco on Monday for an official visit where she will meet her Moroccan counterpart and other officials.

Ayelet Shaked will thus be the third minister of the Israeli government to visit the Kingdom.

The Times Of Israel daily, quoting a statement from the Israeli Interior Department, indicates that Shaked should meet, in addition to Abdelouafi Laftit, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fettah Alaoui and other senior officials.

At the center of these talks, in particular bilateral cooperation, but also the project aimed at “bringing foreign workers from Morocco to Israel to work in construction and nursing”.

Prior to the Minister of the Interior, the holders of the portfolios of Foreign Affairs, Yair Lapid, and Defense, Benny Gantz, paid visits to Morocco respectively last August and November.
