Baccalaureate 2022: Benmoussa visits an examination center in Sidi Bouknadel

The Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, visited, on Monday in Sidi Bouknadel, the Houcine Slaoui collegiate high school, on the first day of the unified national baccalaureate exam 2022.

This visit, in which officials from the Ministry and the Regional Academy for Education and Training (AREF) took part, illustrates the desire of the Department of National Education to ensure the proper conduct of examinations within the educational establishments, and to provide the necessary support for students during this important stage of their school career.

During this visit, the Minister took note of the measures taken for the smooth running of this national deadline, including in terms of health measures, the distribution of students within classes and the various organizational aspects, from the receipt of copies until they are sent to the correction centers approved by AREF.

In a statement to the press, Benmoussa indicated that the organization of these field visits is of great importance, in particular by allowing them to observe the measures taken up close and to provide psychological support to the students, while wishing them full success in this important stage which crowns the end of a course of their schooling.

Similarly, the minister praised the efforts of the teaching staff in supporting students and preparing them for the baccalaureate, recalling that the exams are taking place under normal conditions, after two years of reinforced health measures due to the pandemic.

He also stressed the importance of controlling and reprimanding cheating in addition to compliance with health security rules and preventive measures relating to the state of health emergency, welcoming the commitment of the all the actors concerned to make this deadline a success.

For his part, the director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training (AREF) in Rabat-Salé-Kénitra, Mohamed Aderdour, insisted on the importance of intensifying the measures taken to deal with the Covid pandemic. -19 in order to provide optimal sanitary conditions for students.

For Aderdour, the fight against cheating is a guarantee for equal opportunities, so that the exams take place in a normal atmosphere at all levels within all the exam centers.

The unified national baccalaureate examinations began on Monday in all examination centers at the national level, and continue until next Friday.

A total of 81,220 candidates will take the tests for the normal session of the 2022 unified national baccalaureate exam in the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region. Thus, 41,408 candidates are registered in the public sector and 8,115 in the private sector, while independent candidates will number 31,697. More than 23,000 executives and stakeholders are deployed to ensure the smooth running of this deadline.
