Active cases rise to 8,560 nationwide

The surge in active cases on treatment continues in Morocco. Similarly, 8,460 tests were carried out in 24 hours, bringing the national total of tests since the start of the pandemic to 11,770,677.

In addition, Morocco has not recorded any deaths due to Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. The national total of deaths since the start of the pandemic therefore remains stable at 16,085. That said, the fatality rate has dropped to 1.36%.

Still in its daily epidemiological report, the Ministry of Health reports twelve (12) new severe cases admitted to intensive care in 24 hours for a national total of 47 critical cases this Thursday. The cases under artificial respiration decreased to 9 cases while no new intubated cases were identified.

Morocco has also recorded 904 recoveries, bringing the national total since the start of the pandemic to 1,156,397 remissions. The cure rate stands at 97.91% this Thursday.

With regard to vaccination, the number of beneficiaries of the first dose of the vaccine since the start of the national campaign reached 24,846,230, the second dose 23,329,496 while the number of beneficiaries of the D3 reached 6,500,439. , said the Ministry of Health.
