INDH sets up a platform to help young people

A youth platform dedicated to supporting and guiding young people has been set up in Settat as part of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH).

The creation of this platform is part of the third phase of the INDH (2019-2023), in particular its Program 3 “Improvement of income and economic inclusion of young people”, based on an integrated approach aimed at improve the employability of young people, create added value at the local level and ensure the sustainability of projects.

This structure offers several spaces to young people in addition to the services of an association which takes care of listening to and guiding the beneficiaries.

As part of this program, 29 projects related to the entrepreneurship component have been funded for the benefit of project leaders (2021), while 21 other projects relating to the social and solidarity economy have been funded by the INDH in 2019 compared to 23 in 2020 and 9 in 2021.

The Settat youth platform received 795 applications from young project leaders.

Since the launch of its third phase by HM King Mohammed VI in September 2018, the INDH has placed human capital, an essential lever for development, at the heart of its concerns.

The strategic objectives of this phase III (2019-2023) thus aim to achieve inclusive human development, which allows equal opportunities for all citizens.
