Hammouchi calls on the police to show "respect" and "courtesy" towards citizens

The director general of the DGST-DGSN pole, Abdellatif Hammouchi, sent a note to all his services calling on the police to show respect, kindness and courtesy towards citizens, foreign residents and tourists.

The police chief also called on all members of the police, whoever they are, those working on the public highway but also those working in the administrations, to show seriousness and firmness in the exercise of their functions.

In this note, which has been widely distributed throughout the national territory, the Director General of the General Directorate of National Security and the General Directorate of Moroccan Territorial Surveillance, emphasizes in his instructions that “police officials working on the public highway must treat citizens well and decently”.

And calling on them to engage “seriously in the exercise of their functions by the application of the law in a sound and firm manner”, he once again recalled the imperative to be warmer and more respectful towards citizens. and foreigners.

“Each institution receiving visitors must attach extreme importance to the quality of the reception of citizens and foreigners, by showing respect and courtesy towards them, and by taking the initiative to treat their requests seriously. and efficiency, in full compliance with the laws and regulations in force”, he specified.

This note sent to the various police departments in the kingdom is part of a set of organizational and corrective measures that the General Directorate of National Security is working to put in place.

This is the second time in the space of a few months that Abdellatif Hammouchi has sent a note to his services which underlines the aspect of welcoming citizens.
