Beginning at the 7th CFA of the Royal Navy of the operation of selection and incorporation of conscripts

The operation of selection and incorporation of conscripts for military service for the year 2022 began on Monday at the 7th Training Center for Conscripts (CFA) of the Royal Navy in Benslimane.

This operation, which will continue until May 28, began in the various units and reception centers of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), and will target the selection of 20,000 candidates, including 1,800 candidates.

In order to ensure the success of this operation, the Royal Armed Forces have brought together and mobilized all the human and logistical resources necessary at the level of the various centers and units concerned, across the national territory.

In this regard, a logistics unit has been set up to guarantee the transport of conscripts to the selection centers concerned by trains or public transport coaches, in addition to the mobilization at these centers of administrative and medical executives so that the he operation is taking place under good conditions.

Upon their arrival at the center concerned, the candidates go through various administrative workshops, such as the identity verification, security examination and registration and infirmary workshops to carry out the necessary examinations. The candidates are finally auditioned by a special commission which decides on their aptitude for military service.

For the candidates and candidates selected, buses are mobilized to ensure their daily travel to the various centers, across the Kingdom, where they will continue their military and professional training. Those who have not fulfilled the selection conditions will be transported to their areas of residence via ONCF lines or on board public transport buses.

In this sense, Lieutenant-Colonel, Naoufal El Bakkali, underlined that in execution of the High Instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Chief and Chief of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), the 7th Center of conscripts (CFA) of the Royal Navy will accommodate nearly 2,107 candidates for military service, including 142 female elements.

In a statement on the occasion, he noted that these candidates come from different provinces and prefectures of the Casablanca-Settat region, noting that for this purpose the center has set up several workshops which are divided into four cells.

The first cell, explained Lieutenant-Colonel El Bakkali, will be responsible for verifying the identity of the candidate, while the 2nd is responsible for registration. The 3rd cell, located in the infirmary of the center, will take charge of the medical examinations of the candidates, while the 4th, made up of special commissions, will be responsible for deciding on the aptitude of the candidates.

The center has been equipped with all the logistical and human resources capable of guaranteeing the smooth running of the selection and incorporation operation.

It should be noted that the first day of selection and incorporation of those called up for military service for the year 2022 at the Benslimane center was dedicated to the female element.

At the end of this operation, the 7th Training Center for conscripts of the Royal Navy plans to accommodate 1,090 conscripts.
