Nadia Fettah Alaoui welcomed, in this context, the financial support provided to Morocco by the German government during the Covid-19 crisis, as well as the German initiative “Partnership to encourage reforms”, launched in 2019, which constitutes a new and promising framework for cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Bärbel Kofler underlined the particular importance attached by the German government to the partnership with Morocco and the desire to extend its scope to other priority sectors, such as the areas of green transition, said the same source. They also reviewed the main reforms undertaken by Morocco in line with the conclusions of the report on the New Development Model as well as the priority projects launched in this context, the statement concludes.
